This will be Architects' first tour in support of their upcoming album "Hollow Crown", the indisputable jewel of the band's acclaimed and prolific career, which will be out January 2009.

"By the time the Hollow Crown tour comes around in January we won't have headlined in the UK for the best part of a year," says drummer Dan Searle. "So we made sure that this tour would be a set of very special shows. Not only are they our biggest headline shows to date, but we are super excited about the rest of the package too, Misery Signals and A Textbook Tragedy are two of the most exciting modern metal bands out there right now. These shows are going to be amazing."

"We are stoked to be back on the road and playing new songs right now," says frontman Sam Carter, currently on tour across America supporting Suicide Silence and Emmure. "Things are going great over here in the U.S., it's an awesome feeling to be so far from home and to meet fans that have liked us from the early days and to win over new supporters too. We are definitely looking ahead to the 'Altamont Never Say Die' tour [with Parkway Drive, Unearth and Despised Icon] next month too, its gonna be the first time a lot of European and UK crowds get to hear us playing tracks from 'Hollow Crown' and we can't wait to see the reactions!"

Architects' new video for the track "Always" can be viewed below.
